Apple Macbook Pro 13inch / 14-inch may be coming next month
Apart from iPhones, there’s one machine a lot of Apple enthusiasts are looking forward to. The 13-inch Macbook Pro might finally get an upgrade this year. Last year, Apple launched an upgraded 16-inch Macbook Pro which got a bigger screen, better keyboard. However, there was no smaller 13-inch or 14-inch version. Newly leaked info now claims that the smaller Macbook Pro will be launching as early as next month.
The new 2020 13-inch Macbook Pro, codenamed J223 might launch next month according to popular tipster Jon Prosser. There’s no official confirmation about the launch but the tipster, in a tweet said, “if everything goes well” the launch will happen next month. Given the current situation of an almost global lockdown, there can’t be any certainty about the launch.
Apple’s last 13-inch Macbook Pro that featured a butterfly keyboard received a lot of flak for major issues like sticky or unresponsive keys. The company even created a free repair program after the launch in 2018.
The new 13-inch Macbook is also expected to feature the tenth-generation Intel Ice Lake chipsets with a 10-nanometer architecture along with the new keyboard that also made it to last year’s 16-inch Macbook Pro.
Another popular analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo recently claimed that the company will be launching a 14.1-inch Macbook Pro to replace the 13-inch variant. He also claimed that the new laptop will be released in 2020 but did not specify a date or month. Considering the current situation in the United States, the information should be taken with a grain of salt.
